Peer Review Ashley Dones Julie Rancont: I learned that he was rejected from piano lessons because he was already too advanced for their teachings. I really liked how he wrote his music developing characters instead of writing to please his performers. I would like to hear more of his music and why he wrote each piece Brittney Smeaton It is amazing that he started performing at such a young age. In making the orchestra more colorful and expressive, it becomes more prominent in the music. I would like to learn more about how Wagner was trying to incorporate his anti-Semitic views in his music. However, a controversy remains as some people think that his anti-Semitic references were normal for the time and place in which he lived. Still others think that "Wagner's anti-Semitism was no more significant to his musical creation than was any other peculiarity of his personality". Andrea Coucke This composers style did not fit in the box for the time period he was in. I liked how he did what he want with his music and didn't care what others thought of it.
